What oh! I've got a used MaxiDAS DS708 from a friend for a good deal. I know it has been setting for a least 2 years, I don't know if this has anything to do with it but being a technician I know the valve of information. Now the tool takes about 20 mins to boot up and start working, it blows through the loading screen then freezes on the main screen. Then when it dose finally boots up it works like a champ! I've used it 15 times or so and have done an update on the SD card through my laptop (not the $695 one) and sometimes when I go to turn it on, it updates "Vehicle Information" in a little blue box. Why dose it take so long? Missing around with a 25ft extension cord to keep it on all day is kind of a pain.
